Casa de Luta MMA Saarbrücken | October 2026
The work continues. The next challenge is already waiting.
After an impressive UFC debut in August 2026, French MMA fighter Noah “Guns” Gugnon is preparing for his second appearance inside the Octagon.
On October 24, 2026, Noah will face American fighter Kody Steele at UFC 333, taking place at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
With a professional record of 10 wins and 2 losses, including 10 finishes, Noah enters this fight looking to continue building his career among the best fighters in the world.
But before the lights, the cameras and the Octagon, there is something much less glamorous.
The training room.
Back to Work After a Successful UFC Debut
On August 1, 2026, Noah made his UFC debut against Miloš Janičić in Belgrade, Serbia.
It took him just 1 minute and 21 seconds to finish the fight by rear-naked choke in the opening round.
An impressive performance that demonstrated his finishing ability and marked an important milestone in his professional career.
But in MMA, celebrating a victory cannot last forever.
Every fight brings new challenges, different opponents and new problems to solve.
And that means getting back to work.

Preparing for UFC 333 at Casa de Luta
As part of his preparation for UFC 333, Noah has been putting in work at Casa de Luta MMA Saarbrücken, where we continue developing different aspects of his MMA game.
Our training sessions focus on the technical and tactical demands of modern mixed martial arts, particularly the transitions between striking, wrestling and grappling.
In MMA, having good individual techniques is not enough.
You need to understand how to connect them.
How to use striking to create wrestling opportunities. How to control positions against the cage. How to transition between attacks without losing control. And how to make the right decisions under pressure.
These are the details that make the difference at the highest level.
The photographs accompanying this article capture some moments from our training sessions during Noah’s preparation for his upcoming fight.
No spectators. No bright lights.
Just the work that happens before fight night.
A New Challenge: Kody Steele
At UFC 333, Noah will face Kody Steele, an American lightweight with a professional record of 8 wins and 1 loss.
Steele brings considerable grappling experience and has already demonstrated his submission skills inside the UFC.
His background makes this an interesting matchup between two fighters who are comfortable finishing opponents.
For Noah, preparation means being ready for every possible situation.
Whether the fight takes place standing, against the cage or on the ground, the objective remains the same: to develop the tools necessary to impose his game and adapt to whatever happens inside the Octagon.
At this level, small details can decide an entire fight.

More Than Just Training
As a coach, one of the things I appreciate most is watching the evolution of an athlete over time.
Not only physically or technically, but also mentally.
The ability to remain disciplined, accept corrections, work through difficult sessions and continue improving even after achieving important victories.
Reaching the UFC is already a major accomplishment.
But staying there, developing as a fighter and competing against increasingly difficult opponents requires another level of commitment.
There are no shortcuts.
Behind every performance are countless hours of repetition, difficult rounds, technical adjustments and sacrifices that most people never see.
That is why I enjoy sharing these photographs.
They show a small part of the process that usually remains hidden from the public.

The Road Continues
On October 24, Noah Gugnon will step into the Octagon for the second time in his UFC career.
Another opponent. Another challenge. Another opportunity to demonstrate the results of years of dedication.
Until then, the focus remains on preparation.
Improving every detail.
Getting the rounds in.
And making every training session count.
The next chapter is coming.
