BJJ Backstage: Jiu Jitsu sessions with Billy Graziadei on TouršŸ„‹

During the Biohazard EU/UK Tour 2025, I had the privilege of training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu backstage with Billy Graziadei.

As both a BJJ coach in Germany and a lifelong fan of hardcore and metal, this was a special moment for me. I grew up inspired by Biohazard’s energy, and rolling with Billy before a show was an unforgettable experience.

šŸ‘‰ One thing I’ll never forget is how relaxed Billy was after training — he said it gave him the same mental reset as hitting the stage. That’s exactly why I’m passionate about sharing BJJ with musicians: it balances body and mind, even on the road.

šŸŽ¶ Why I Train with Touring Musicians

Music and Jiu Jitsu share the same spirit: discipline, passion, and community. Supporting the music scene means giving artists a way to:

  • Recharge between shows 🧘
  • Stay physically sharp šŸ’Ŗ
  • Reduce tour stress 🚐
  • Connect through a global martial arts community šŸŒ

Several touring musicians I’ve trained with have told me that BJJ became the ā€œbest therapyā€ they found while traveling — keeping them grounded during the chaos of tour life.

As a lifelong music fan and BJJ coach in Germany, moments like these mean a lot to me. Music and martial arts share the same energy: discipline, passion, and community. Getting to roll with Billy — a hardcore legend — showed how BJJ can connect people in any setting, even backstage before a show.

šŸ’” This training session reflects my mission: supporting touring musicians and artists in Germany by offering a way to stay active, train, and recharge on the road.

Whether it’s at my BJJ Academy Casa de Luta (@casadeluta) or meeting bands backstage at their tour stops, I want to keep building this bridge between the music scene and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
